This Christmas season I’ve rediscovered my little Uggs, which were a present from my boss last year. They had been stored away at my parents house and I forgot how much I [love/hate] them.
I remember when I was in high school I [loved/hated] Uggs. I never wanted to own them because everyone had them. Instead I wanted unique, one-of-a-kind boots, which I found at Payless. They had different color patches of brown and tan with a white fur trim and little fur balls.
They were adorable! But when my boss asked me if I’d like Uggs for Christmas last year, I couldn’t resist. Afterall I had always secretly wanted a pair because, well, EVERYONE had them. I knew I couldn’t afford real Uggs and I didn’t want fake ones. But if someone was offering to buy me some, how could I say “no”?
Now that I have the Uggs, my [love/hate] relationship continues. I[love/hate] them because they are super comfy and adorable in their own way. And I [love/hate] them because well, they are ugly. The toes are way too big and EVERYONE has them. They aren’t unique and they are so slippery.
But whether I love or hate them, I’ll continue wearing them because, well, how could I just let them sit in my closet? I’m off to celebrate my first of three Christmases this year. I’ll update you when I get a chance but for now here’s a sneak peak of my first Christmas outfit.
